October 2009, European Dome, Bangkok
New design and materials were presented during the „Green Days“ organized by the European Union. Lecture and construction of the Bamboo Dome were part of a workshop with 9 students of the Silpakorn University, Faculty of Architecture: pentagonal tower of bamboo pipes were erected – diameter 4,70 m / height 7 m connected by cords.

China

October 2009, Architecture and Urban Planning School Huazhong, University Of Science and Technology of Wuhan, Central China; during one week 30 students developed design and art objects made by different recycling materials, which origins mostly from the bamboo pavilions. The workshop results were shown in exhibitions on the University campus as well as on the German Esplanade in Wuhan – together with objects made in a preceded workshop at the LuXun Academy of Shenyang, Northeast China.
